COSTA RICA: ARCHDIOCESE OF SAN JOSE CELEBRATES JUBILEE
WITH INTENSITY  


San Jose, 11 (NE) Costa Rican faithful will be able to attend the "Second International Catholic Fair 'Emmanuel 2000'" that will take place in this country during the month of May, within the framework of the Jubilee year. A Catholic association in Costa Rica will organize the Fair, which includes expositions of the work of the Church in this country, as well as different conferences and dialogues.

The Catholic Fair is part of the different activities that will take place in the Archdiocese of San Jose during May on occasion of the Great Jubilee of the year 2000, that is being celebrated in this city with great intensity. The First Social Week of the Archdiocese will also take place during this month. It will gather specialists from different countries in San Jose. Cardinals Alfonso Lopez Trujillo, President of the Pontifical Council for Family and Norberto Rivera, Archbishop of Mexico, will be among participants.

Sources of the Archdiocese also informed that a TV program of 30 minutes will be produced to explain the meaning of the mystery of Incarnation, the Jubilee Year and the experience of the Year 2000. Different TV stations will transmit this program. The Jubilee of Workers will take
place, as well as the Jubilee of Farmers, during the month of May. These events expect to congregate many Costa Rican faithful to celebrate the 2000 anniversary of the Incarnation of the Lord Jesus.
