SHALOM, JERUSALEM

Wednesday morning, May 28: I am about to go interview Jesuit Fr. David Neuhaus, the patriarchal vicar in Israel for the tiny community of Hebrew speaking Catholics with the Jerusalem Latin Patriarchate. He also teaches Scripture at the Patriarchate Seminary in Beit Jala and in the Religious Studies Department at Bethlehem University. Fr. Neuhaus was the media coordinator for the Popes just-concluded visit to the Holy Land and I am sure that was due, at least in part, to his great linguistic skills.

I will check out of my hotel before that but come back here for a quick lunch and some last minute errands before getting a shuttle at 2 pm for Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv for my flight to Amman, Jordan.

I will try to write or post some videos and photos throughout the day in Facebook, Twitter and/or Youtube, so stay tuned!

Have a sunny day!
