The Shrine of the Most Blessed Sacrament and EWTN Global Catholic Network, founded by Mother Mary Angelica, P.C.P.A., come together to provide a unique setting for your individual or group pilgrimage.
The Shrine of the Most Blessed Sacrament and Monastery of the Poor Clare Nuns of Perpetual Adoration is located on approximately 400 acres, only one hour away from EWTN. Inspired by Mother Angelica's vision of the Divine Child Jesus, the Shrine contains images and statues that celebrate the childhood of Jesus and the Real Presence. Visitors may pray and meditate before the Blessed Sacrament, stroll through the gardens and grottos, and visit the life-like Nativity. As well, Mass and rosary are available daily, and the Nuns extend a personal invitation to pilgrims seeking spiritual renewal to join them silently as they pray the Divine Office and adore our Eucharistic Lord.
EWTN Global Catholic Network, founded in 1981, is available in over 250 million television households in more than 140 countries and territories. With its direct broadcast satellite television and radio services, AM & FM radio networks, worldwide short-wave radio station, Internet website www.ewtn.com and publishing arm, EWTN is the largest religious media network in the world. EWTN's mission of spreading the Gospel to the very ends of the earth brings together the Church's most outstanding priests, theologians, Scripture scholars, and speakers. Live shows, catechetical talks and inspiring homilies deliver the Truths of the Catholic Church to the Faithful. EWTN's Chapel and surrounding grounds provide a place for prayer and contemplation. A tour of EWTN's facility shows the technology behind-the-scene. The EWTN grounds are also home to the Franciscan Missionaries of the Eternal Word (MFVA) Friary.
