HERMIE: A COMMON CATERPILLAR |
0:30 |
A nice program teaching children not to be quick to be
dissatisfied with themselves, because 'God isn't finished' with
them yet. 'Hermie' (voice of Tim Conway) is an ordinary
caterpillar discontent with his place in the world and his lack
of special attributes. Along with his caterpillar , 'Wormie'
(Don Knotts), they are frequently awed by the talents and beauty
of the other creatures they encounter. Failing to duplicate what
he sees in others, Hermie prayers to God asking why they are so
ordinary. And, each time, God gently reminds Hermie that He is
not finished with them yet. The exciting conclusion is God's
final word. He will accomplish in each of us what he intends. |
