Re:Talking about our faith
Question from David McMahon on 10/21/2015:

Dear Dr. Geraghty, The following may help: Catholics pray to Mary for her intercession. Christians of all denominations ask others for intercessory prayer--who better to ask than the mother of Jesus?

Sprinkling or immersion at Baptism is irrevalent--as long as it is performed in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.

We have a Trinity because each plays an integral part in Salvation.

We call our priests father because they act as spiritual leaders, much like our own fathers who are leaders in our homes.

Answer by Richard Geraghty on 12/17/2015:

Dear David,

Thank you for your note.

Dr. Geraghty
