St. Mary Magdaline and the Risen Jesus
Question from wayne on 4/16/2017:

Dr. Geraghty, From the Gospel of St. John 20:17; why is it that Jesus does not allow Mary Magdeline to touch Him. I was wondering if it had to do with His being at that time a spirit. Thank you

Answer by Richard Geraghty on 4/24/2017:

Dear Wayne,

Christ invited St Thomas to put his hand into his side. He could retouched after He rose from the dead. I don't know why he did not allow Mary Madeline to touch Him.

Dr. Geraghty
