Re: Why Not This?
Question from Paul on 4/28/2012:

Hello again Judy,

Although I am a 100% supporter for an amendment which honors life beginnig at the moment of conception, why not rather just push for an Contitutional Amendment stating that the U.S. Constitution must be interpreted "in light of the Natural Law?"

Thank you,

PaulY8

Answer by Judie Brown on 4/30/2012:

Dear Paul

Your idea might hold merit if we did not have a question of who is defining "Natural Law." As you may know, there are countless so-called experts in the natural law theory who have clearly never studied Aquinas, or if they have, they have chosen to ignore his full body of explanation. Therefore the words "in light of Natural Law" would not be adequate.
