Re: General Question
Question from Pamela on 6/30/2014:

I believe the action of marking with our thumbs the crosses on our forehead, mouth, and heart before the gospel reading by the homilist means "may the Word of God be in our minds, on our lips, and in our heart". At least that is my understanding of that ritual.

Answer by Richard Geraghty on 7/20/2014:

Dear Pamela,

Thank you for your note.

Dr.Geraghty
