Re: bible interpretation
Question from ML on 4/8/2012:

A questioner asked about the interpretation of Matt 16:28 in which Christ predicts that some who are standing here will not experience death until they see the Son of Man come in his kingship.

Is it possible that Jesus was referring to His Transfiguration since the very next sentence at the beginning of Chapter 17 starts out "six days later Jesus took Peter, James, and John and led them on a high mountain" etc? He did reveal Himself in His glory to them, as He will to all of us at His coming, and Peter, James and John would have been the ones standing there who did not experience death before they saw that.

Answer by Richard Geraghty on 4/12/2012:

Dear ML,

I would go along with that.

Dr. Geraghty
