Praying before meals
Question from Morrie on 10/7/2013:

I really admire the 15 year old who insists on prayer before meals and other times of the day. I have three grown boys that always amaze me with their devotion to a God. The father's vocation should be to do all he can do with the grace of God to make sure that his spouse and children get to heaven. Of course prayer is a big part of this. Now the dishes need to be done, meals cooked, time spent away at work, etc. but these should also be times of prayer. The 15 year should continue to pray but to also honor their father and mother and perform their duties in a prayerful, loving manner. My prayers are with him.

Answer by Richard Geraghty on 10/16/2013:

Dear Morrie,

Thank you for your note.
