Question from micky sandstone on 1/26/2014:

why is it some people no matter how hard we try are always in misrable lives and the harder they try the worse life gets. and when a very, very rare event happens when someone shows you some kindness or something good happens it such a rarity you go into a panic not knowing how to act and turns your world upside down and mixes it up even more. and makes you feel worse than before. tired of being the worlds doormat.

Answer by Richard Geraghty on 3/16/2014:

Dear Micky,

You have given a very vivid picture of a person in distress. Yes, it is hard to understand how people can get all upset when someone else treats them with respect instead of stepping them like many others do. Start saying some prayers to a Warrior like St. Michael the Archangel putting his spear through the heart the dragon. You'll become a door mate to be reckoned on, a door mat calling for respect.

Dr. Geraghty
