Seperated Couple Re phrased...
Question from anonymous on 1/22/2014:

How does one deal with the new partners of a previously married couple i.e. they seperated and each now have new partners... They are older than me in fact my fathers friends but they come round often...separately. I have similar hobbies to the new partner and he is a friend of my dad but as i know he is living a sinful life i somewhat don't want to meet him . Since he is older than me i don't feel comfortable confronting him about this.

Answer by Richard Geraghty on 3/16/2014:

Dear Anon,

Are you able to talk with your father about this? Will he be able to understand and explain things to his friend? I imagine that he should be able to do this. I can see why you do not want to confront an elder about this. Get some help from your father to avoid any bitter or painful reactions.

Dr. Geraghty
