Sunday Mass on TV
Question from M.L. on 4/29/2012:

Is it okay to attend Sunday Mass on TV like the one EWTN has?

Answer by Catholic Answers on 4/30/2012:

M.L.--

No. Television Masses do not fulfill the Sunday obligation. Watching Mass on television may provide a means by which the homebound who cannot go to Mass for just reason (e.g., illness, care for one who is ill, etc.) can participate in the Mass in some way, but TV Masses do not act as a substitute for attending Mass in person for those able to do so.
