Rosary
Question from Grandma Mac on 6/9/2014:

I have seen Catholics with a rosary draped over the rearview mirror of their car with part of it swinging free. Is this acceptable?

Answer by Catholic Answers on 6/10/2014:

G.M.--

Assuming it is done as a means of expressing piety, it is not sacrilegious. But in many municipalities, it is illegal to drape anything over a rearview mirror. That's because the objects draped over the mirror can either drag down the mirror or cover part of the glass, and thus constitute a driving hazard.
