Question from colleen on 4/5/2013:

can a pregnant woman who has uterine cancer have a hysterectomy?

Answer by Judie Brown on 4/8/2013:

Colleen

She may not have surgery that would jeopardize the life of her child but must wait until the baby is born. The situation you describe is manageable according to pro- life doctors.

Killing the baby in the process is not the right solution.
