Confirmation during Lent
Question from Chris on 3/4/2013:

My daughter is making her confirmation this week and we will be having a small party afterwards. My family was wondering if they are "allowed" to eat what they gave up for Lent because we are celebrating her confirmation.

Answer by Catholic Answers on 3/4/2013:

Chris--

Sure. Such Lenten penances are strictly voluntary and may be taken up and set aside at will.
