Mass while traveling
Question from Anonymous on 4/12/2013:

My husband and I will be celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary this summer. We are looking into a small-ship river cruise in southern France to celebrate. Because of the schedules and itineraries it is possible that we might not be able to attend Mass on Sunday. What advice can you give us?

To place more importance on your obligations as Catholics than you do on your personal convenience and pleasure. A 50th wedding anniversary is special and deserves a nice celebration, but surely you and your husband can find a suitable anniversary trip that will still allow you time and opportunity to fulfill your Sunday Mass obligation.
