Plan B One-Step
Question from Lawrence on 5/1/2013:

Dear Judie,

On the CBS national news broadcast this morning a newscaster stated that Plan B One-Step (the so-called "morning after pill") is not an abortifacient, and that Plan B simply prevents ovulation from occurring.

I cannot but think that her statement is false. Could you please explain to us the true effects of Plan B?

Thank you.

Answer by Judie Brown on 5/3/2013:

Dear Lawrence

Plan B is abortive and therefore cannot be described any other way. The facts are readily available; please note the following
