i can't write well! someone tell me how to write neatly BUT fast!

I usually have to choose one or the other. In fact, I used to have great penmenship until I went to college, and had to take notes for fast and furious in classes that I lost my ability to write neatly. The frightening thing that I have heard is that in some schools, they no longer teach kids how to write, so dependent are they upon texting and computers.
