Thank you for the wonderful coverage of world youth day watching the Holy Father and witnessing the joy in his face is great. All of the events express the beauty of our faith. Father Mark and the crew in Alabama are doing an excellent job. Thank you again.
God Bless you all,
We have been just savoring every show that EWTN has been broadcasting for World Youth 2008 -- we have even been eating our meals in front of the TV so we do not miss a word or sight your wonderful station is sharing with us at home. Time flies by and we feel we have been joined with the youth and feel we are on the Pilgrimage along with those actually in Australia. God Bless You and Your staff for all of your commentaries -- they are so insightful.

Thank you so much for the awesome coverage and great commentary! I've followed almost every minute! I'm physically unable to attend World Youth Day because of my disability-- but your coverage has enabled me to become a WYD pilgrim. At several moments I truly felt the energy, emotion and enthusiasm as if I were there! What a blessing to be Catholic! I feel so renewed! I thank God for EWTN!
Hello from the "Hub of the Universe" (We used to be :-) ) Now it is Sydney, Australia!!! We have three grandchildren attending from Central Kansas. Two from Wichita Diocese and one from Dodge City Diocese! We have been glued to our TV. Praise God for EWTN!! How wonderful that we can watch this from the other side of the world in "Live Time"!! We feel as though we are there and the Holy Spirit is touching us in the same dimension! Most of the 600k are the future of our church. How wonderful! Thank you from the bottom of our heart. God Bless you.
Peace be with you always.

Thank you so much for the coverage of WYD in Sydney, Australia...my hometown and country. It has been so inspiring to me....as a life long Anglican...seeing the Holy Father and the youth of my home country and the places I know so well and have visited in my youth....and my desire to become a catholic in my young days and which my family opposed...seeing the Pope in the USA and now in Australia...is such a great thing for the world and for the catholic faith......thank you with all my heart and the blessings I have received just watching on television....
God Bless you all!

Dear Life on the Rock,
I have been watching the coverage from my home in Nevada, and when I see all the young people on Fire for the Lord tears of joy streamed down my face! I became Catholic when I was 25 years old and am now a 51 year old mother and grandmother. Of late I have had many struggles and difficulties and my faith is really being tested, just yesterday I was questioning why God made me? But when I see all these young and (older people too!) gathering to praise God and Receive the Holy Spirit it gives me such Hope that Christianity is alive and well in this sometimes very bleak world!! Thank you, Doug and Father Mark and EWTN, for all the lives that are being touched by your witness to the Catholic Faith in bringing us this broadcast of WYD. Praise to you Lord Jesus Christ!
I thank God for EWTN and such excellent WYD coverage. We have a giant tv screen and it felt like we were there! I must tell you that I watched (being a Catholic) alongside my Jewish roommate - who insisted I hog the tv the entire week. She really enjoyed it.
Much love and blessings to you all at EWTN,
New York City
Thank you Fr. Mark and Doug - and everyone else involved - for your wonderful coverage of the greatest gathering of young pilgrims from around the whole world. Everything is so colorful, full of life, love and hope. Thank God for our Youth! May the Holy Spirit continue always to reign powerfully in their hearts!
Love and prayers,
your coverage has been a tribute to the Holy Spirit through technology. My 17 year old daughter is at WYD & I feel connected to her by watching the coverage of the events. The vigil and pre-mass shots of where they slept, gave a mom comfort to see that her "baby" is safe, surrounded by Jesus' hands, and arms and smiles. Kudos to the cameramen, and the audio has been awesome. They are truly God's hands behind the scenes!! ! Safe travels home to everyone at WYD.
Love in Jesus,
Hello from Australia - Sydney. Its 1pm and the final mass with The he Holy Father has just ended. Over the days we have had the Holy father with us, we have tuned into EWTN. Congratulations on your coverage, you have excelled our expectations. We have sat in our lounge room over the past days and watched you in the studio and Fr Mark and others in Sydney. Thank you. We are not 'young' in age but in Spirit. Let us all be renewed and make a difference.

My sincerest thanks to all at EWTN for your wonderful coverage of WYD. I have been glued to my tv,trying to absorb the spirit and joy that is so evident in everyone there in Sydney. I am 58(one of the "older" youth) and wish I could be there with you! The re-enactment of the Stations of the Cross was phenominal, and brought me to tears, esp. the final station when Jesus was placed in Mary's arms. May God Bless all of you for all your efforts and bring you home safely, and I hope Fr. Mark is feeling better.
I just wanna say Thank You for the coverage of the WYD. I've been watching all the events since from the beginning. It's so amazing to see all the people who participated in Sydney Australia for the WYD, that all this youth are so excited to see the Pope, even me by watching the Pope on TV. I feel that I'm a part of them too. May the almighty GOD be with us. Keep continuing the coverage of all Catholic events.
Dear Father Mark
Thank you so very much for the wonderful coverage of WYD 08.I have had EWTN on TV constantly all week! It is going to take the weeks ahead to really digest all that has taken place this week. I am very grateful for your blogs and pictures. The young people you have interviewed were so articulate and it really seems we do have a Springtime in our Church. The whole event has brought to me a whole experience of emotions -wishing I was younger and able to join in, great joy to see so many many young people encountering Jesus, the wonderful homilies that I can download and ponder on in the weeks ahead. I must not go on and make this too long! but thankyou EWTN and you all whom over the past few years have really become my family.
Love, prayers and God Bless you

Thank you so much for the wonderful coverage of The World Youth Day events! As always EWTN did an amazing job. All the events this week were inspiring and really made it feel like a new pentecost.
Thanks again God Bless
Thank you for the wonderful coverage of World Youth Day. I enjoyed it immensely.
Ellen F. R.,
The Holy Spirit is alive and moving among the youth! Thank you Pope Benedict. Amen, Amen! A true divine blessing! Thanks be to God! I had the honor of being present at WYD 93! I pray that the power of the Holy Spirit fills the youth, all present, or watching through EWTN. May we do the work required as humble and faithful Catholics. Thank you EWTN for allowing me to watch the WYD SYD events! God bless EWTN and all the pilgrims!
Thank you Jesus,
Hello and Thank you to all at EWTN. Having attended World Youth Day in Germany four years ago, my heart is with all who are there in Sydney. Listening to the coverage on my radio at home and in my car has been a beautiful reminder of the experience I had in Cologne and inspires me to continue living the words the Holy Father shared with us then and shares with us now. I am so grateful for your coverage of the Sydney World Youth Day and other EWTN programs.
Dear Fr. Mark,
My husband and I sent two teens to WYD 2008. Your coverage has allowed us to experience simultaneously what they are experiencing, allowing us to grow spiritually with them. Today, we gather with other parents from our pilgrimage to watch encores and share community. God's presence and purpose for WYD in His plan for salvation is so apparent in this amazing event. Thank you so much for bringing this home to us.
Hello I just want to thank you for your wonderful coverage of WYD2008, Father Mark you did an awesome job. I too have stayed up into the small hours of the night to be with the events of the week 'as it happens'. It is so refreshing to see the joy and commitment of the youth and the whole church young and old who came to the Sydney WYD. A note of thanks to you Doug for being such a strong and gracious anchorman and to your assistants who spent those long nights bringing these Catholic events to us. I am a Western Canadian, retired and my only TV channel is EWTN, its all I need.
Your coverage of World Youth Day 2008 has been wonderful! The commentary has been great too. EWTN brings World Youth Day right into the homes of those of us who might like to be there in Australia, but who for one reason or another cannot. Attending via EWTN is the next best thing to being there, and I have definitely appreciated this opportunity. I thank God and you for this special privilege you have allowed us to enjoy. Keep up the good work!!
