When you contribute cash, securities or other assets to a donor-advised fund at a public charity, like Fidelity Charitable, Vanguard or Schwab, you are generally eligible to take an immediate tax deduction. Then those funds can be invested for tax-free growth and you can recommend grants to virtually any IRS-qualified public charity.
When you give, you want your charitable donations to be as effective as possible. Donor-advised funds are the fastest-growing charitable giving vehicle in the United States because they are one of the easiest and most tax-advantageous ways to give to charity.
To learn more about opening an EWTN DAF, please contact Ryan Flood, EWTN’s legacy giving advisor, at 205-569-2674 or email rflood@ewtn.com.
If you don’t have a DAF, but you want to support our mission to spread the Light of Christ to the nations, you can make a one-time donation or set up monthly donations here.
If you cannot find your financial institution or foundation in the links above, please let us know.
If you have already contributed to EWTN through your donor-advised fund, please contact us so we can thank you for your generosity: daf@ewtn.com.
