Episode Twelve: From the "Reformation" to the Modern World
The so called "Protestant Reformation" split Christendom and caused the terrible wars of Religion, although in the early years of the "Reformation" many countries and peoples were lost to the faith. The Catholic or Counter Reformation regained some areas that were lost, and secured France, Central and Southern Europe for the Catholic faith. However, much of Northern Europe remained Protestant. In Episode Twelve, we look at the consequences of the Reformation with the secularising movements such as the Enlightenment, the rise of the Freemasons, the French Revolution, and up to the present day with the logical consequence of Protestantism: the secularising of the Western World. And we ask why did this secularising and the sexual Revolution began in Protestant countries. We come to a stunning conclusion!
