“Effective today, Thursday, July 18, 2019, Lauren Ashburn is leaving her role as Lead Anchor and Managing Editor of EWTN News Nightly. In sharing the decision with the program’s staff, Ashburn noted, ‘I have treasured the opportunity over the years to work with my talented EWTN colleagues, but with growing responsibilities at home, it’s time to put my children first. I am enormously proud of how we worked together to cover news from a Catholic perspective with integrity and fairness’.
