‘Women Made New’ Joins EWTN Radio’s Saturday Lineup
The EWTN Global Catholic Radio Network is pleased to announce the launch of “Women Made New,” a weekly radio show with Host Crystalina Evert. The show offers advice for women by women on Catholic marriage and family life in the 21st Century. The show airs at noon ET, Saturdays. (Find EWTN radio here: https://www.ewtn.com/everywhere/radio).
“I look back at my childhood, and I didn’t see one intact marriage… that’s pretty much the same for a lot of women…[T]hey don’t know what marriage is supposed to be,” Evert says. This best-selling author was able to find healing and restoration in her own life, and now she helps other women do the same through her “Women Made New” apostolate, upon which the radio show is based.
Each week, Evert and a guest will talk about how to stop running from the past by learning to face it, own it, and heal it! Listeners will be able to hear Evert’s in-depth talks with influential Catholic wives, mothers, speakers, and authors, such as Kimberly Hahn, Lisa Cotter, Cameron Fradd, Lisa Brenninkmeyer, and many more. The women will talk candidly about the hard topics with which every woman struggles. As Evert says, it’s never too late for a woman to start over and to heal the wounds from the past.
“There’s no denying that marriage and family are under attack today,” said EWTN Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Michael P. Warsaw. “‘Women Made New’ with Crystalina Evert is one of a number of EWTN Radio shows that address this crisis in the family head on. I am pleased that EWTN Radio is able to offer this outstanding new show with Crystalina Evert.”
The new radio show joins a very full Saturday lineup of radio shows and podcasts, including:
- The award-winning “Doctor Doctor,” a trustworthy source of medical information and advice for Catholics about practical and current medical topics – with a focus on the dignity of the human person. Airs 11 a.m. ET, Saturdays.
- “Conversations with Consequences,” featuring the powerhouse staff of The Catholic Association, which provides an intelligent and thoughtful conversation from a faithful Catholic perspective with leading thinkers of our time. Airs 5 p.m. ET, Saturdays.
