EWTN Catholic Radio Comes to Sioux City, Iowa

Irondale, AL (EWTN) – EWTN Global Catholic Network welcomes its newest radio affiliate, owned by St. Gabriel Communications Ltd., for residents of the Sioux City, Iowa area. The station reaches the approximately 376,000 residents of Northwest Iowa as well as northeastern Nebraska and Southeast South Dakota. The station will transmit 24 hours a day, seven days a week on 88.1 FM.

John Pepe, EWTN’s National Marketing Manager, Radio, said: “After 10 long years of planning, working and praying, our friends at St. Gabriel Communications have succeeded in bringing Catholic radio to Sioux City, Iowa area residents for the very first time.”

St. Gabriel Communications President John Fitzsimmons, explained how it came about.

“Something got me watching EWTN about 20 years ago and that completely changed my life,” he said. “I am indebted to [EWTN Foundress] Mother Angelica. I am proud and excited to bring EWTN Catholic radio to the Sioux City, Iowa area."
